The 2018 Internship Program is here!
Dear Potential Intern Employer,
The right summer intern can make all the difference for your employees, your workplace and ultimately for the intern. Interns can reduce the workload allowing seasoned workers to focus their skills on more complex tasks and innovative projects. But how do you locate that perfect intern? The American Public Works Association (APWA) Northern California Chapter is here to help with our new Public Works Intern Program.
We pledge the following:
1. Matching internship grants up to $1,000
2. Complement/augment staff
3. You select the intern(s) from a qualified pool based on your need
So what do you need to do in order to participate?
Please e-mail me at Brandon.Hays@WeAreHarris.com to confirm your spot in the program by February 26th, 2018. Selected intern applicants will be invited to participate in a “speed dating” style interview fair with potential employers. The interview fair is tentatively scheduled for the end of March 2018.
